Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; handle concerns, conduct safety walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze metrics, execute strategies, and partner on events with local adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, P&L experience, and a pet passion. Key skills include team motivation, operational efficiency, customer focus, and adaptability to flexible schedules.
