Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions; conduct monthly walks; maintain standards, inventory, and safety protocols; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
