Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture, deliver reviews, and boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, conduct walks, review cameras, and maintain standards.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize inventory, and lead events with adoption partners.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, problem-solving, compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
