Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve key targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage associates; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate development, reviews, and recognition.
  • Store Experience: Ensure safety for people and pets; deliver outstanding pet parent service; maintain standards via monthly walks; manage inventory and events.
  • Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze metrics; communicate objectives; review cameras for safety and coaching.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet care knowledge.   • Handle store opening/closing and emergency pet care situations
