Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people functions: recruiting, hiring, coaching, reviews, scheduling, and development.
- Build open-door culture, respond to associate feedback, and boost engagement through recognition.
- Deliver outstanding pet parent experiences across phone, in-person, and online channels.
- Ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, monitor cameras, and manage inventory compliance.
- Partner on events, maintain standards, and prioritize safe environments for associates, pets, and customers.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, and passion for pets. Key skills include operational execution, financial acumen, conflict resolution, and fostering empowerment. Experience in pet retail and knowledge of safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated pet parent concerns
