Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; oversee inventory and events.
- Operational Excellence: Drive financial outcomes, compliance with policies, and process improvements; partner on community initiatives like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, financial savvy, and customer focus. Must excel in delegation, communication, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.

- Conduct safety walks, camera reviews, and pet health interventions
