Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, deliver reviews, and foster engagement through open-door culture and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoptions; handle openings/closings.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership to empower teams, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, process improvement, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
