Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive targeted outcomes, and ensure exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly Core and Services Walks; review cameras for safety; maintain inventory and standards.
• Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and community initiatives like adoptions.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and customer-centric operations. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
