Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team; build open-door culture; handle scheduling, reviews, training, and grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and associates; deliver exceptional service; conduct compliance walks; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safety and efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include team building, operational execution, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for Puerto Rico location.

- Facilitate associate development, reviews, and recognition
- Maintain inventory levels and operational standards
- Handle escalated customer concerns and pet health issues
