Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, and terminations; build an open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
Store Experience
Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for compliance, and partner on community events.
Business Management
Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing priorities for optimal results.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financial oversight. Key skills include effective delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for pets. Experience with pet retail is a plus.
