Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build engagement through recognition and feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, and maintain inventory standards.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, and partner on events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
