Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; foster open-door culture, deliver reviews, recognize achievements, and handle grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; deliver exceptional service in-store, online, phone; conduct Core/Services Walks; manage inventory, events, and compliance.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; review cameras for safety; handle pet emergencies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building, customer focus, and operational expertise. Key skills include financial acumen, pet safety knowledge, scheduling, mentoring, and adaptability to dynamic environments. Passion for pets and community engagement a plus.
