Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and compliance; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and community initiatives; maintain standards and respond to feedback.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, financial acumen, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling is essential.
