Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; oversee events and inventory compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; cascade objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and operational excellence. Passion for pets and customer service is essential.
