Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; lead pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews for compliance.
• Operations & Financials: Manage inventory, communicate objectives, evaluate processes for improvement, and partner on community events.

Experience & Skills

Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Must excel in pet safety, financial accountability, delegation, and fostering engagement. Passion for pets and community impact required.
