Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; deliver exceptional service; manage escalations; conduct Core and Services Walks; review cameras for safety; maintain inventory and standards.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategy for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups; handle openings/closings.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven retail leaders with strong people management, customer service, and operational skills. Passion for pets, ability to delegate, foster engagement, ensure compliance, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability required.
