Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; build an open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, and engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct safety walks, monitor compliance, and optimize inventory.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze metrics, execute strategies, and partner on events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills

- Handle pet health issues and vet transports as needed
- Analyze business metrics and implement process improvements
