Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving targeted outcomes and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, deliver reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions, events, and compliance with policies via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; manage inventory, analyze performance, and cascade objectives to the team.
Experience & Skills
