Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; handle escalations; lead events and compliance checks; manage inventory and opening/closing procedures.
- Business Management: Achieve profitability goals; analyze performance; communicate objectives; execute corporate strategies for optimal results.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service expertise, and pet industry knowledge.
