Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) oversees all store operations, including team leadership, pet parent experiences, safety, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, drive results, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our mission to do anything for pets.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, and resolve grievances to build an engaged team.
- Store Experience: Deliver outstanding pet parent service in-store, online, and by phone; ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for compliance.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize processes, and partner on community events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
