Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture and deliver reviews on time.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety, handle escalations, maintain standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and lead events with adoption partners.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, passion for pets, strong leadership to empower teams, and skills in operations, customer service, and financial analysis. Flexibility for varied schedules is essential.
