Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving exceptional service, efficient execution, and targeted business outcomes in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and foster an open-door culture with recognition and feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions, community events, and compliance with policies via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; manage inventory, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and respond to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
