Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety/health, maintain standards, conduct Core/Services Walks, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and handle sick pets.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, execute corporate strategy, communicate objectives, and optimize processes/events.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, feedback response, compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling required.
