Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, terminate; build open-door culture; manage schedules, reviews, training, and succession planning; delegate and empower teams.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; handle escalations; maintain standards via monthly walks; manage inventory and safety; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building, customer service, and operational skills. Passion for pets, financial acumen, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments required. Experience in pet retail a plus.
