Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement via open-door culture and Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety/health, conduct Core/Services Walks, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and partner on events/adoptions.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing environments.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, mentoring, compliance, and creating positive environments. Flexible scheduling required.
