Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture and deliver reviews on time.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; handle escalations, conduct walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and lead events with adoption partners.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, conflict resolution, operational efficiency, and adaptability to flexible schedules.
