Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement via open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; manage escalations, compliance, inventory, events, and safety protocols including camera reviews and vet transport.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, execute strategies, communicate objectives, and optimize processes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building, financial acumen, customer focus, and pet industry passion. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decisions, and adaptability to dynamic retail environments. Florida-based candidates preferred for DeLand location.

- Collaborate on events and community partnerships
- Analyze performance data and execute corporate strategies
- Maintain safe environment for associates, pets, and customers
