Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, drive results, and foster an exceptional environment while ensuring compliance and team empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, and resolve grievances to build engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent service across channels, ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for accountability, and handle pet emergencies.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
