Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while achieving targeted outcomes through exceptional service and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks; oversee inventory, events, and compliance; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze metrics and root causes; communicate objectives; collaborate with leadership team.
Experience & Skills
