Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture, deliver reviews, and boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, oversee inventory, and review cameras for compliance.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize processes, and lead events with community partners.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and customer-centric operations. Flexibility for varied shifts and passion for pets are essential.
