Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage customer interactions, events, compliance, inventory, and safety protocols like Core Walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, cascade objectives, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, operations, and financial acumen. Passion for pets, strong communication, delegation skills, and ability to foster empowerment and accountability are essential. Experience with pet retail a plus.
