Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving exceptional service and business results in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through recognition and feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver outstanding pet parent service; conduct audits and maintain compliance.
- Business Management: Achieve profitability goals, manage inventory, analyze performance, and execute corporate strategies.
Experience & Skills

- Conduct store walks, monitor cameras, and enforce policies/procedures
- Manage inventory, events, and community partnerships
