Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and parents; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and camera reviews; handle sick pets and store procedures.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups; maintain policy compliance.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building abilities, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, feedback response, process improvement, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling required.
