Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; resolve concerns; lead events and community partnerships.
- Operations & Compliance: Manage inventory, conduct safety walks, review cameras, and enforce policies; prioritize pet welfare including vet transport if needed.
- Financial & Strategic: Communicate objectives, evaluate processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet care knowledge, and financial savvy. Must excel in customer service, HR practices, and adapting to dynamic environments. Passion for pets and community impact required.
