Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, strategies, and values while delivering exceptional service and achieving key results in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, and oversee inventory compliance.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance, review cameras for accountability, and lead opening/closing procedures.
Experience & Skills
