Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while delivering exceptional service and efficient business execution in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture with high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks, monitor cameras, and maintain compliance with policies.
- Business Management: Analyze performance metrics, execute corporate strategies, optimize inventory, and achieve profitability goals through root cause analysis and process improvements.
