Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety and health; conduct compliance walks; manage inventory; oversee openings/closings and camera reviews for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze data and root causes; communicate objectives; partner on events and community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, financial acumen, and a passion for team empowerment. Proficiency in operations, customer service, and HR practices is essential. Flexibility for varied shifts required.
