Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) oversees all store operations, including safety, pet parent experiences, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, conduct reviews, and foster engagement through recognition and feedback.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent service, ensure pet safety, conduct operational walks, manage inventory, and respond to concerns via phone, in-person, or online.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize processes, and collaborate on events like adoption partnerships.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership to delegate and motivate teams, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include conflict resolution, inventory control, safety protocols, and adaptability to dynamic retail environments. Flexible scheduling is essential.
