Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, review, and develop associates; create schedules; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; resolve concerns; maintain standards via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Operations & Finance: Manage inventory, communicate objectives, evaluate processes, and partner on events with adoption groups.
- Pet Safety: Respond immediately to sick/injured pets, including vet transport; prioritize compliance and risk assessment.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years retail management, strong team-building, customer service, and financial skills. Pet industry passion, HR experience, and ability to delegate while owning results are essential. Must thrive in dynamic environments with flexible scheduling.

- Drive community events and partnerships with adoption groups
- Cascade business goals and adapt to changing priorities
