Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage escalations, conduct safety walks, oversee inventory, and review cameras for compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, and partner on events with adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
