Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations; build open-door culture; manage schedules, reviews, training, and succession planning; delegate and empower teams.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional pet parent service; conduct Core and Services Walks; maintain standards, inventory, and safety; review cameras and address issues.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategy; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong people skills, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include team building, customer service, operational efficiency, compliance, and development. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends required.
