Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and uphold our vision while ensuring efficient daily execution.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture and deliver reviews on time.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, conduct walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for accountability.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and partner on events with adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership, pet care passion, financial acumen, and skills in team building, operations, and customer service. Experience with HR functions, safety protocols, and driving sales in dynamic environments is essential.
