Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver exceptional service in-store, online, and via phone; conduct Core and Services Walks; maintain compliance and inventory levels; review cameras for safety.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups; handle store opening/closing.

Experience & Skills

Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include effective delegation, associate engagement, process improvement, and crisis response like vet transports. Flexible scheduling required.
