Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, and resolve grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety, deliver exceptional service, manage escalations, conduct safety walks, monitor cameras, and maintain inventory.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize processes, and lead events with adoption partners.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer focus, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in communication, delegation, compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
