Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key targets, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; build an open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead customer service; conduct compliance walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Drive profitability, analyze metrics, manage inventory, and execute corporate strategies; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, pet industry knowledge, and expertise in operations, sales, and HR. Must thrive in dynamic environments, delegate effectively, and prioritize safety and service.
