Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks; manage inventory and events; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in team motivation, financial oversight, and customer-centric operations. Proficiency in HR tasks, inventory systems, and fostering positive cultures is essential. Passion for pets and adaptability to flexible schedules (days, nights, weekends) required.
