Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, handle grievances, and build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional service; manage escalations, conduct monthly walks, review cameras, maintain standards, and partner on events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by analyzing performance, executing strategies, managing inventory, communicating objectives, and prioritizing safety.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, feedback response, process improvement, and flexible scheduling. Commitment to safety, ethics, and empowerment required.
