Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; build open-door culture; manage scheduling, reviews, and engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver exceptional service; conduct compliance walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze metrics; maintain inventory; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, and operational acumen. Key skills include team development, financial oversight, conflict resolution, and a passion for pets. Experience in pet retail is a plus.
