Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct Core and Services Walks, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and handle sick pets.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must thrive in dynamic environments, delegate effectively, and prioritize safety/compliance. Flexible scheduling required.
