Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; address grievances and boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver outstanding pet parent service; conduct monthly walks, camera reviews, and process improvements; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; handle openings/closings and emergencies like pet transport.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team motivation, operational efficiency, compliance adherence, and adaptability to dynamic retail environments. Flexible availability is essential.
